The first Rimi store in the Baltics was opened 1997. Rimi Baltic launched its operations as a joint venture in January 3, 2005. The Rimi Baltic retail chain operates in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. It is one of the largest retail chains in the region, with 7,829 employees. Today the company is a wholly owned subsidiary of ICA and the company aims is to become the leader of the food retail market in the Baltic States.

Rimi Baltic operates three formats: Rimi Hypermarket, Rimi (Supermarket), and hard-discounter shops known under the name Supernetto in Lithuania and Latvia and Säästumarket in Estonia.

The “Rimi Baltic” retail chain owns approximately 240 supermarkets in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia and in headquartered in Riga, Latvia. The company also operates three distribution centers - in Lithuania, Estonia and in Latvia.

Rimi Latvia (Latvia)

There are 30 Rimi supermarkets, 14 Rimi hypermarkets and 57 Supernetto stores operating in Latvia. The company employs approximately 3,580 people.

Rimi Lietuva (Lithuiania)

Rimi Lietuva currently operates 28 Rimi supermarkets, 27 hard discount stores Supernetto, 11 Rimi hypermarkets, and has established its own distribution centre. Rimi Lietuva employs approximately 2,252 people.

Rimi Eesti Food (Estonia)

10 Rimi supermarkets, 9 Rimi hypermarkets and 58 hard discount stores are operated in Estonia. Rimi Eesti employs approximately 1,997 people.
