Community support part of company's "Living Here, Giving Here" program
Carlisle, PA – Officials from GIANT Food Stores and MARTIN’S Food Markets today
announced that charitable donations made in 2009 as part of the company’s “Living
Here, Giving Here” program, totaled $15.8 million in combined cash and product
contributions. The donations, which amounted to the company’s largest to date, support local hunger-related organizations, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, local schools and other non-profit groups at the local level.
