April 26, 2010 - Carlisle, PA – GIANT Food Stores and MARTIN’S Food Markets, as part of the Ahold USA family of supermarkets, were honored by the Produce for Better Health Foundation (PBH) for its wide range of support for “Fruits & Veggies—More Matters®”, which replaced PBH’s familiar “5 A Day” campaign, and encourages healthy diets through increased fruit and vegetable consumption. The supermarket chains accepted the award for achieving Role Model status.
