Effective January 1, 2000, Mrs. Annelies Bouma, currently Vice President Corporate Control Royal Ahold, has been appointed to the position of Executive Vice President Finance at Aholds Institutional Food Supply company GVA/Gastronoom in The Netherlands. Mrs. Bouma will join GVA in September 1999.
Effective September 1, 1999, Mr. Bert van der Velde has been appointed Vice President Corporate Control, succeeding Mrs. Bouma. Mr. van der Velde is currently Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Aholds joint venture operations in Thailand. He will relocate to The Netherlands.
Effective September 1, 1999, Mr. Eppo Boot will succeed Mr. van der Velde as CFO of Aholds joint venture operations in Thailand. Mr. Boot is currently Vice President Finance for Ahold Asia Pacific in Singapore.
