Management Trainee

Do you have a passion for food and feel at home in a retail setting, keeping up with rapidly changing tastes and trends? Are you enterprising, with a talent for leadership and the ability to inspire others?

The Ahold Management Trainee program is designed to prepare you for upper management positions in a dynamic retail environment. Over the course of two years you will become familiar with all aspects of Ahold's core business. From the beginning of your traineeship, you will enjoy a strong measure of autonomy and responsibility. You will spend the first year in a Commerce, Purchasing or Supply Chain position at the head office; in the second year you will take on a management role in an Albert Heijn store or one of our distribution centers. After completing the traineeship you will continue in a position at Albert Heijn, Etos or Gall & Gall.
